Sharing your Faith is a window on your soul
It has been interesting how God works in bringing people to me who are asking questions about faith. I think many people in society are really searching for answers about life. Life has been a struggle for me for awhile but I continue to maintain a positive attitude and focus on what God has done for me. OK, I am not perfect and I do get down once in a awhile. But, it seems when someone is going through a tough time others want to know how they are getting through it.
This is a great time to share how God has been there in the past and he is still here today.
How do I effectively share my faith, especially in situations hostile to faith or in situations where faith is the answer? First, I consciously submit my heart to Christ as Lord. Second, I need to be ready to share the hope I have in Jesus. Finally, when I share my reason for hope, I do it with respect, gently sharing my faith with others.
Lord, please use my influence and the quality of my life to bring others to Jesus. Please give me wisdom as I seek to bring friends and family to YOU. Make my words and actions lead them closer to you and show them my respect and love,today, on the Adventure in Middle Grove.
