One thing about the Christian faith is the main prize is something we will claim when we enter eternity with our maker.
Everything else in life is waiting for this to happen. This is not a fatalistic look at life but the reality of living in a fallen world. Our view of life is looking through a set of glasses looking forward.
There is no rear view mirror looking back.
The work done on earth is preparation for what will come. The prize is something we will never see until we move on to ...until he comes.
Lord, be with me today, while we still venture together on the path of life while traveling on the Adventure in Middle Grove.
