Hospitality

Hebrews 13:2 (New International Version)

2Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

The Adventure in Middle Grove started a new direction this past weekend. For many years, my home was a place of refuge for others who needed respite or a place to stay in transition.

Saratoga Simple Life has it's first guests. I had someone move in this weekend and another person planned for later this year. It is difficult to find people who want to be part of a home and not just renting a room. I am very careful about who moves in and require a number of recommendations. The person who just moved in just happens to be a friend of someone I have know for over 30 years. This is for another time. What is important is wherever you are in life, whether you own or rent a house or apartment, your home can be a refuge for someone who needs a place to rest for some reason. Today, let this place be a place of refuge on the Adventure in Middle Grove.
