QUICK < SLOW< SLOW

Listening and Doing

19 Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

James 1:19 (New Living Translation)

The holiday season seems to bring out the best in families and the worst in families. It is a somewhat condensed , close, and intimate time where it is easy to speak and difficult to listen. It is a time when past experiences can illegitimately drive conversations and the past becomes the present.

Take time as we approach the holiday season of 2009 to listen to conversations and move forward in family and friend relationships. Look toward the future as the walk continues on the Adventure in Middle Grove.
