Captive

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up
against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to
make it obedient to Christ.
   -- 2 Corinthians 10:5

This is a powerful verse that is an awesome responsibility.

Sounds so easy...

The verse tells us to Demolish EVERY THING that is against God.

And take captive EVERY thought


Demolish = Destroy
Take Captive = Build up

As I take captive every thought I become more obedient to him since I am in sync with what he has planned to me.

Lord, help me to take captive every thought and help me to be more obedient to you.
